Hi there! My name is Bill. In April 2015, I turned my one-car garage in Las Vegas into a workshop. It’s tiny and cramped and full of sawdust, but it’s mine.
I’m not a professional woodworker, metalworker, or machinist. I have no formal training. But I love working with my hands and figuring things out.
I graduated college with a B.A. in English and spent 10 years working as a writer for a website that reviews home theater equipment while also writing my own stuff on the side. As a result, I’m pretty good at telling a story. You can find more current examples of my work at Make: Magazine, where I freelance occasionally — I let them know whenever I find something cool, and sometimes they feature it.
If you want to talk to me about one of my videos or to ask me about writing something for you, you can use the Contact form or get in touch with me on Facebook. If you want to support One Car Workshop, you can do so through Patreon, or by using one of the links on the Gear page, or by purchasing a t-shirt in the Shop.
Thanks for visiting One Car Workshop!
