Make a knife from a saw blade

Hey everyone!

My new video is out. This is my first knife build, and it went REALLY well. I’m really happy with how it came out and I know my next one will be even better.

I also wrote up this video for Reddit and Instructables where it was featured TWICE — once in the Workshop section and once on the front page of the site! That’s awesome!

Making a knife from a saw blade is a fairly common project, but I’ve been putting it off for a long time. Maybe that’s because I was worried about messing it up. Recently, though, something finally clicked for me and I just decided to go for it. I managed to do the entire build using the angle grinder and a few other common tools, so this is definitely something that anyone could do if they tried. It’s not difficult at all. I used walnut for the handle and brass for the pins. I love how brass and walnut look together.

I hope you enjoy the video. I’ve been spending a lot more time on my editing lately and getting my videos tighter. Let me know what you think.

Thanks, and work safe!

New Video Tomorrow: Longevity MIGweld 140 Review

Last month, I picked up a Longevity MIGweld 140. For $375, it is the most affordable full MIG welder that I am aware of, and since I bought it I’ve had a lot of requests for a review. The review will go up on YouTube tomorrow, but Patrons can check out the One Car Workshop Patreon page to see an early preview.

Thanks, everyone!
